PRODUCTION ZONE: Canelli.
ALCOHOL: 13,50 %.
AEGING: After a period of ageing in steel vats, refined
in wood. Refined for 8 months in french oak barriques
COLOUR: ruby red tending to darken with age.
SCENT: intense, ethereal, persistent, sharp with pleasant
hints of licorice wood.
FLAVOUR: excellent body, warm, intense, armonious and creamy
with a pleasant tart of licorice and toasted almonds.
CELLAR CONDITION: stored in a cool dry place, shaded from
the light.
CONSERVATION:
several years, improoves with ageing.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18 - 20°.
FOOD TO BE SERVED WITH: excellent with roast, game, strongly
flavoured meat dishes. Hard mature cheese, strong chocolate.
