GRAPPA DI MOSCATO D'ASTI

RAW INGREDIENTS: skins of Moscato d'Asti grapes.

DISTILLATION METHOD: discontinuous with an alembic using the Piedmont "bain marie" method

AEGING:reafined for a few month in oak carati (small italian casks).

ALCOHOL: 42% vol.

CAPACITY': 50 cl.

COLOUR: white.

SCENT: delicate, fresh and lively.

TASTE: soft, lively, and undiminished. Harmonious.

CHARACTERISTIC:the bain-marie method as the advantage of preventing the grappa from taking on an unpleasant smoky or burn taste and allowsit to slowly evaporate retaining the wine-like characteristic of the grape skins. With the discontinuous method it obtains a few liters of grappa with unique characteristics. Prize winne of "Alambicco d'Oro", the highest recongnition of excellent grappa.
