WINE:
MOSCATO D'ASTI SOTTOZONA CANELLI
GRAPE
TYPE: 100% Moscato special selection of best grapes.
PRODUCTION ZONE: Canelli low/yield hectar.
SOIL TYPE/EXPOSITION: calcareus marl with some lime and rich
in microelements- SUD - 400m a.s.l.
VINE TRAINING METHOD: Guyot.
BUNCH:
medium size elegant cylindrical conical berries, round, golden yellow
with amber marks.
HARVEST:
mid September.
ALCOHOL: 5,5%.
VINIFICATION/FERMENTATION: the grapes are crushed, pressed
and the must is chilled to low temperature. After filtration the
must kept in refrigerated tanks at zero degrees. The refrigeration
retain the full aroma and fruit of the grapes and keep the wine
stable during the shipping and storage.Halted at around 5 - 5,5%
alcohol resulting in a wine with higher residual sugar. Before botteling
the wine is undergoes a sterile filtration.
COLOUR: more or less intense, golden straw-coloured.
SCENT: characteristic unmistakable fragrance.
FLAVOUR: fill the palate with the taste of mildly aromatic
grapes, with hints of peach, almond butter and orange flowers. The
finish is rounded by a note of macaroons and honey.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 7 - 10°.
FOOD TO BE SERVED WITH: with desserts, mature cheese, pastries,
fruit and at all time.
